1. Summary

We build and test custom rifles to a high standard. This document describes the warranty that applies to completed rifles built by Figure Eleven (the “Warranty”). These terms are in addition to our Terms & Conditions and form the basis for remedies if a defect arises in workmanship or materials.

2. What this warranty covers

For completed, custom-built rifles shipped to the original purchaser by Figure Eleven we warrant, for a period of 24 months from date of delivery, that the rifle is free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service. Workmanship defects that appear during this period will be remedied in accordance with Section 9 (Remedies).

Accuracy guarantee (where stated in the sales contract):

  • Sub-MOA Guarantee (included where stated in the sales contract): rifle mean group size ≤ 1.0 MOA using our test protocol (Section 6). This guarantee is provided as described in the sales paperwork for the build; it is not automatic for every build.

3. Warranty exclusions (what is NOT covered)

This Warranty does not cover:

  • Damage or failure caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, accidental damage, or lack of normal maintenance.
  • Damage or failures resulting from modification, alteration, or repair performed by anyone other than Figure Eleven or an authorised Figure Eleven repair centre.
  • Failures or wear caused by corrosive environments, improper storage, or failure to follow owner’s instructions.
  • Wear items and consumables (including but not limited to: springs, extractors, firing pins, gas rings, O-rings, seals, magazines, grips, finishes subject to wear, or coatings where natural wear occurs).
  • Issues caused by use of non-specified or customer-supplied ammunition, or ammunition outside the specification stated for the build.
  • Barrels, chambers or components damaged by overpressure ammunition, reloaded/hand-loaded ammunition, or ammunition that has not been approved in writing by Figure Eleven.
  • Cosmetic finish variations between components from different manufacturers or production runs, unless a paid full-system refinishing service was purchased and explicitly guaranteed.
  • Service on rifles or components supplied to you by a third party (see Section 7 for uppers-only terms).
  • Any consequence of illegal use or use not permitted by law.

4. Transferability

This Warranty is provided to the original purchaser and is transferable by default. If the rifle is transferred to a subsequent owner, the Warranty remains valid for the balance of the original Warranty period. To transfer, the new owner should notify [email protected] with proof of ownership and the original order reference.

5. Duration & effective date

The Warranty period is 24 months from the date the rifle is delivered to the original purchaser, unless the sales contract states otherwise in writing.

6. Accuracy test protocol (Sub-MOA guarantee)

When a Sub-MOA guarantee applies, accuracy is tested under the following protocol:

Test conditions

  • Distance: 100 yards (91.44 m).
  • Position: Benchrest with a fixed rear bag and front rest.
  • Target: Three (3) separate 5-shot groups.
  • Ammunition: GGG 77gr Match (only). We use GGG 77gr Match for official verification; any other ammunition may yield different results and is not accepted for the official Sub-MOA test.
  • Environmental: Wind and weather permitting; tests may be postponed if conditions exceed safe or reasonable testing thresholds.
  • Measurement: Calculate each group’s centre-to-centre extreme spread; take the mean (average) of the three group sizes. For the guarantee to apply the mean must be ≤ 1.0 MOA.

The Sub-MOA guarantee excludes failures attributable to customer-supplied replacement barrels or components fitted after delivery unless such replacements were fitted by Figure Eleven.

7. Uppers supplied alone / service to third-party lowers

If you purchase an upper only from Figure Eleven:

  • We do not guarantee compatibility with all lowers or third-party components.
  • If you experience functional issues, send the upper only for inspection. We will perform an initial function check on a mil-spec test lower at no charge if the upper was supplied by Figure Eleven and the issue appears to be workmanship or manufacture-related.
  • If you request inspection or troubleshooting of a complete rifle containing a lower we did not supply, diagnostic time and labour will be chargeable and quoted in advance.

8. How to start a warranty claim (RMA process)

  1. Contact [email protected] with: order number, purchase date, a description of the issue, photographs or video (if appropriate), and your contact details.
  2. We will assess your claim and, where required, issue an RMA number and instructions.
  3. Do not ship items to us. For safety and legal reasons customers cannot post firearms to Figure Eleven. Items must be transferred to us either:
    • via another RFD transferring the rifle to Figure Eleven (recommended), or
    • dropped off at our premises in person (by prior arrangement).
We will provide transfer instructions as part of the RMA. Unauthorised returns (posted parcels) will be refused.
  4. Customers remain responsible for any costs associated with transferring the rifle to Figure Eleven (RFD transfer fees or travel / drop-off). Figure Eleven will cover return shipping for valid warranty repairs within the UK unless otherwise stated; international customers may be responsible for return shipping. Items must be insured for their full value while in transit or when transferred; Figure Eleven is not responsible for loss or damage during transfer unless we arranged the shipment.

9. Remedies

If, after inspection, Figure Eleven determines a covered defect exists we will, at our option:

  • Repair the defect at no charge; or
  • Replace the defective part or rifle; or
  • Offer a refund of the pro-rata purchase price in cases where repair or replacement is not practicable.

Figure Eleven reserves the right to use reconditioned or refurbished parts of equivalent function when making repairs.

10. Diagnostics, labour & turnaround

  • Initial inspection: free where the item was supplied by Figure Eleven and the issue is clearly within Warranty; otherwise diagnostics may incur a fee which will be quoted and must be authorised before work begins.
  • Turnaround: typical turnaround for warranty repairs is 2–8 weeks from receipt, depending on parts availability and workload. We will advise estimated timing when we issue the RMA.
  • If a claimed defect is found not to be covered by this Warranty, the customer will be quoted for repair and must authorise charges before work proceeds. Unauthorised repairs will not be performed and items may be returned at the customer’s cost.

11. Shipping, transfers and insurance

  • Customers must not post firearms to Figure Eleven. Use an RFD transfer or drop the item off in person following our RMA instructions.
  • Customers are responsible for any costs to transfer the rifle to Figure Eleven (RFD transfer fees or travel/drop-off).
  • Figure Eleven will cover return shipping for valid warranty repairs within the UK unless otherwise stated; international customers may be responsible for return shipping.
  • Items must be insured for their full value during any transfer/transport; Figure Eleven is not responsible for loss or damage during transfer unless we arranged the shipment.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Figure Eleven’s total liability under this Warranty is limited to the purchase price paid for the product. Except where required by applicable law, Figure Eleven is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages (including loss of use, loss of time, or lost profits).

13. Applicable law

This Warranty is governed by the laws of England & Wales. Nothing in this Warranty affects your statutory rights.

14. Optional extended cover

Figure Eleven may offer, at our option, extended warranty terms, or other upgrade packages for an additional fee. These must be purchased and documented at the time of sale.

15. Miscellaneous

  • Any parts replaced under Warranty become Figure Eleven’s property.
  • Figure Eleven reserves the right to update the terms of this warranty without notice.
  • This Warranty is distinct from and does not replace any implied statutory rights you may have under consumer protection legislation.
